Fractional CO2 Laser (Fractional Resurfacing)
This is the most modern method of skin rejuvenation with visible results after
a single session. In this treatment laser beam fractioned to small flashes of
light affects certain areas slightly damaging collagen fibers in deep skin
layers, thus stimulating their new production. The skin becomes more beautiful,
younger, more radiant, and tighter, wrinkles and scars get smoother and
disappear. The new technology facilitates
faster skin recovery, minimizing possible undesired side effects, such as
redness or hypo- or hyper-pigmentation.

Procedure
Pain relieving cream is spread over the area to be treated (face, neck, chest, basks
of hands, etc.) for about 30 – 60 minutes, and a pain killer tablet is used (Novalgin,
Paralen), and where the client suffers from frequent herpes, Herpesin tablets
are recommended to be taken one or two days before treatment. Facial CO2 Laser treatment session takes
about 30 minutes. The skin gets red, and depending on the intensity of flashes,
dots resulting from laser beams may be visible. Unlike in erbium laser, the
recovery process is shorter, as the not the entire skin is burnt, but there are
small islands of healthy skin. During recovery, taking about four days, the skin
sloughs off. For about a month, sun exposure or solarium visits are not
recommended.
With scars and stretch marks the treatment should be repeated several times in
one month intervals.
How long do the
effects last?
The new collagen is produced in several months, so that the skin appearance
gradually improves. This is the most efficient rejuvenation, after one session,
the skin improvements last several tears, which is much longer than after
photo-rejuvenation or 3D rejuvenation.
Treatment Indications
This treatment is recommended for more mature types of skin, not above 65, at
an older age, collagen production is reduced. With younger people, this
treatment may be successfully used to remove acne, keloidal scars and stretch marks.

Laser Peeling
The Principle
The horny surface skin layer is made of dead cells that make the skin look dim, faded, and old. The latest, most sparring, precise and effective method for removing corneous skin layer is laser peeling. As laser radiation is absorbed in the outer layer, it is absolutely painless, local anesthesia is not necessary, which reduces the price and the time of treatment, requiring no additional treatment or recovery. The only reaction is light redness, and the results are visible immediately after treatment. Although the larger amount of dead cells sloughs directly during the treatment, during the following two to seven days the remaining, less affected horny cells come off, thus intensifying the effects of the treatment.

Treatment Procedure
Depending on the set parameters, peeling may be surface, medium deep or deep. Facial treatment takes about 15 minutes, facial and neck takes 20–25 minutes, and facial, neck and chest peeling takes 40 –50 minutes.

Laser Acne Treatment
SMOOTHBEAM LASER, made
by CANDELA, a well established US
company, being the only of its kind in Slovakia,
uses laser energy to affect sebaceous gland cells in deep layers of the skin.
Laser generated heat damages these cells, as a result of which the amount of
sebum production is reduced. Unlike in full area photodynamic treatment, the
laser effect is more intense and can be targeted to specific areas.
Treatment
Procedure
For about 30 minutes before the treatment, anesthetic cream is applied to the
skin. After sufficient numbing, laser pulses are applied to the afflicted
areas. Extra sensitive patients may feel slight pain during treatment. Most
patients experience mild redness lasting for one or two days. In some rare
cases, small scabs may be formed. Treatment is repeated three to five times in
one month intervals. .

Laser Treatment of Wrinkles around the Eyes and Lips
For fine lines around the eyes, a very fine Smoothbeam Laser is used
penetrating deep into the middle layers of the skin without damaging the outer
skin layer. The light energy is changed into thermal energy as a result of
which the tissue is remodeled. A new, rich and firm collagen is produced,
wrinkles get smother and finer.
Treatment Procedure:
Treatment takes 10 – 15 minutes for one area. The skin gets slightly red after
treatment, light swelling may also occur.
Treated areas should not be sun exposed for seven days. You need not take any

Injection Lipolysis – Breaking Down Fat by Injections
Injection lipolysis is used worldwide to break down local fat in problem body
parts in which fat deposits remain in localized areas also after weight loss.
The active substance is the natural soy lecithin.
Treatment is recommended to
remove:
- minor fat deposits not removable by any other method
- lipomas (benign fact tumors)
- cellulite
- double chin, nasal an labial folds, fat cheeks
- remains after a liposuction surgery

Treatment Procedure
Active substances are applied by special applicator containing three or five needles penetrating the fat tissue at the same time. The treated areas must be then intensively cooled. Three to four deciliters of water should be drunk after the treatment. Three to five days after treatment at least one to two liters of water must be drunk each day. Seven days after the treatment lymphatic drainage is recommended. This treatment is not good for pregnant women or people allergic to soy, those suffering from elevated liver enzymes.
Swelling may appear and persist for several days after treatment, and the injected area may be slightly painful.
The treatment is repeated after six weeks. One area
usually requires four sessions in 4 – 6 weeks. The loss of fat tissue after
first treatment is 15 %, 30 %, after second treatment, then 10%, and 2% after
the fourth session. The results vary in
individual persons.
Recommended treated areas
Application of injection lipolysis is good to improve special body parts, not
the whole body. The treatment may be more effective when combined with lymphatic
drainage, vacuum massage, or muscle stimulation by electric currents (high tech
infrared), which are also used to remove excess fat.
How long do the effects last?
